Bob's career experience as a human resources professional in both business and the military service covers more than 35 years. His experience includes extensive expertise in management development, labor negotiations, safety and health management, environmental compliance, risk management and career transition consulting.
In 1966 Bob joined the Allis-Chalmers Corporation following completion of his MBA studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His initial assignments provided exposure in every human resources function at the corporate level. In 1972 Bob was selected to be the Employee Relations Manager of the Agricultural Tractor Division, one of the largest divisions in the corporation. Later, in 1984, he was given additional responsibility as the Employee Relations Manager for the General Services Operation, also located within the corporate complex. Bob was the principal human resources manager responsible for assisting in the closure of manufacturing operations in West Allis, Wisconsin and providing employee transition counseling.
Bob later joined Quality Aluminum Casting Company as Vice President, Human Resources. He was instrumental in resolving a protracted labor strike and further assisted the company in retuning to a profitable position.
In 1991 Bob joined Kramer International, Inc. as Director Corporate Services. Along with extensive management responsibilities, he is also the environmental compliance officer for the company.
Bob's military career spanned 21 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He was the honor graduate in his OCS class at the Wisconsin Military Academy, served as Personnel Service Officer and had attained the rank of Major at the time of his retirement. Currently, Bob is in the S.E. Wisconsin Region Ombudsman for the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve.

Bob graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and later received his MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His academic specialties were human resources, labor relations and psychology. In addition, Bob is life certified Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR). |
