Originally from Florence, Alabama, Bob is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. While at Ole Miss, Bob belonged to Omicron Delta Kappa Honorary, Order of Omega Honorary, and Sigma Nu Fraternity. After graduation, Bob worked with an international public accounting firm with its offices in Houston, Texas, and Jackson, Mississippi, for five years, and then another local firm for six years before joining and becoming a partner with GranthamPoole. In addition to his CPA designation, Bob is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Valuation Analyst, and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation designation. He has served as Secretary of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants and on its Board of Governors. He is a Past President of the Jackson Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. Bob is also involved in a number of charitable organizations, including the Jackson Society of Model Engineers, which benefits the Mississippi Children�s Home Society. Bob is married to the former Anne Manning and has three children. The family attends First Presbyterian Church in Jackson where Bob is a Past Chairman of Deacons. For relaxation, Bob enjoys playing tennis, running, golf, and collecting and operating old Lionel trains. |
