Robert B. Anacone joined Biosite Incorporated in October 2005 as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Sales. He is currently responsible for the commercialization of all of Biosite�s products in domestic and international markets.
Prior to joining Biosite, Anacone was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MediSpectra, a privately held medical device company developing proprietary optical detection technology for cancer and other human tissue abnormalities. Prior to MediSpectra, Anacone held senior marketing and sales positions at Perceptive Biosystems, Serono Diagnostics, Gene-Trak Systems and Hybritech Incorporated and held sales positions at Ortho Diagnostics, Abbott Laboratories and Squibb Pharmaceuticals.
Anacone received his bachelor�s degree in economics from the University of Hartford. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MediSpectra. |
