Bob Bogart is executive vice president of Human Resources for The Thomson Corporation. In his role, he is responsible for human resources, succession planning, training and development, organizational development and various administrative activities for The Thomson Corporation.
Previously, Bob was senior vice president of Human Resources for Thomson Financial. He joined Thomson Financial in 2003 and has more than 35 years of business experience in diverse areas such as engineering, business planning and finance, in addition to human resources management.
Prior to joining Thomson Financial, he was the senior human resources executive and a member of the operating committee at Primerica Corporation; Macmillan, Inc.; and Mutual of Omaha Companies. He has started his own business, taught graduate-level human resources management courses at the New School University in New York, and served as a management consultant.
Bob received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the City College of New York and his master's of business administration degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. He also attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. |
