Mr. Nichols is the Chief Operating Officer for AeroTurbine and co-founded AeroTurbine in 1997. He has been active in the aviation industry for over 20 years. He joined Aviall in 1982 and assumed various roles in the administration of JT8D & CFM56-3 power plant maintenance. Mr. Nichols joined Braniff Airways in 1988 as Manager of Powerplant & Warranty Administration and participated in the oversight of outsourced powerplant maintenance covering JT8D, V2500 and Tay-650 engines. When Braniff ceased operations, Mr. Nichols joined Greenwich Air Services in 1989 as Director of Engine Maintenance Sales. In 1990 he joined AeroThrust Corp. where he became Vice President of Engine Sales & Leasing. Mr. Nichols is a graduate of the University of Texas where he earned a BS in Business Administration.
