One of the cable industry's true pioneers, Robert Clasen has served in a variety of senior positions in the cable television and telecommunications industry over the course of his 30-year career. He was Vice President of U.S. Operations for Rogers Communications Inc. in Toronto and later became president of Comcast Cable Communications. He has also held executive positions in the Video on Demand (VoD) and Interactive Television businesses and served as Division President with McCaw Cellular (now AT&T Corp). Mr. Clasen was Chairman and CEO of ICTV, an interactive/internet television provider, and also served as chairman of Vivid Technologies, a VoD system provider that merged with Concurrent Computer Corp. In addition, he was President and CEO of ComStream Corp. (now Radyne ComStream), an international provider of products to the satellite and terrestrial broadband markets. Mr. Clasen has served as a member of the National Academy of Cable Programming Board of Governors, a Director of the Cable Television Administration and Marketing Association (CTAM), and a Director of the Cable Television Advertising Bureau (CAB). Currently, he is the President of Sales and Marketing at Starz Encore. |
