Mr. McGehee joined Progress Energy (formerly Carolina Power & Light Company "CP&L") in 1997 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Since that time, he has held several senior management positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Mr. McGehee served as President and Chief Operating Officer, having responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our regulated and nonregulated businesses.
