Robert C. Mattson is a partner in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. He has litigated cases involving a wide range of technologies, including embedded systems, Internet software, sporting goods, and semiconductor memories. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where he specialized in speech signal processing.
Mr. Mattson received his Law degree from George Mason University School of Law where he served on the George Mason University Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Mattson is admitted to the Bar of Virginia and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association (Patent, Trademark, and Copyright and Litigation Sections). |
