Bob Daleo began his career with The Thomson Corporation in January 1994 when he joined Thomson Newspapers as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In 1996 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Thomson Newspapers assuming responsibility for a significant portion of its United States operations.
At the beginning of 1997 Bob joined Thomson Corporate as Senior Vice President Finance and Business Development and was later appointed Executive Vice President Business Operations and Planning. In November 1998 Bob became Chief Financial Officer of The Thomson Corporation and in January 2001 was named to the Corporation's Board of Directors.
Prior to joining The Thomson Corporation Bob held various financial and operations positions with McGraw-Hill and Automatic Data Processing.
Bob is a past Chairman of Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company's Policyowners Examining Committee. He serves on the board of directors of Equifax Inc. and the New Jersey Community Development Corporation. Bob is a member of Fordham University's President's Council and a former member of the Advisory Board of Rutgers University's Prudential Center for Business Ethics. He holds an undergraduate degree from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from the City University of New York. |
