Robert Zimmerman is certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification in neuroradiology. He currently works at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell where he is Director of Diagnostic Imaging and Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Radiology. Simultaneously, he is the Attending Radiologist at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Memorial Hospital for Cancer & Allied Diseases and a consultant in the Department of Radiology Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Zimmerman is a Professor of Radiology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He received his B.A from Rutgers University and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Zimmerman serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the American Journal of Neuroradiology and on the Editorial Peer Review Staff for the New England Journal of Medicine, American Journal of Neuroradiology, Radiographics, Investigative Radiology, Neurology, Academic Radiology, and Stroke. Dr. Zimmerman has completed ninety-four peer reviewed publications, nine chapters, and sixteen invited papers and commentaries. Dr. Zimmerman resides in New York City. |
