Bob is head of the firm's Appellate Practice Section. Bob also maintains a broad civil trial practice representing litigants in all Indiana Federal and State Courts. Bob has been engaged in the full-time practice of law since 1986. Following graduation from high school, he served three years in the United States Army. Bob has lived in Northwest Indiana since 1983 and has practiced with Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty, P.C. since 1986. Bob maintains a broad civil practice. The areas of his practice include: product liability; professional liability; toxic torts; personal injury (plaintiff and defense); civil rights; insurance coverage matters; commercial and business litigation; and, appellate advocacy. Bob is head of the firm's appellate practice section. His appeals have resulted in over 35 published opinions. In addition, he has served as a judge pro tempore in the Lake Superior Court and as an arbitrator. Bob has also spoken before lawyer groups on various topics in the areas of his practice. |
