Rob was an investment banker and corporate financial professional for 20 years prior to joining Seven Hills in 2003. Rob began his career in investment banking in 1983 at Lehman Brothers where he was a Senior Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department. In 1989, he joined Kidder, Peabody where he was a Managing Director and co-head of Kidder Peabody's Technology investment banking practice. In 1994, he joined Cowen & Company as a Partner and founded the Firm's M&A practice. Rob was head of Cowen's (later SG Cowen) M&A group until 2000 when he was named Chief Financial Officer of Yipes Communications, a San Francisco based fiber optic communications company. Rob received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics from Stanford University. He serves as a Trustee for the California Academy of Sciences and is a member of the Stanford University Athletic Board. |
