He has served as President of Allen Marine Tours since 1986, which provides whale-watching and wildlife sightseeing trips in Sitka, Ketchikan, and Juneau. He is Vice President of Allen Marine, which builds 20-100� boats, and Vice President of Allen Marine Sales and Service, which operates retail stores in Sitka and Juneau. Combined, the three companies employee about 200 people in Southeast. Mr. Allen has a Bachelor�s degree from Harvard College and a Master�s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University�s Kennedy School of Government.
