Robert Sawyer's business law practice has a strong financial emphasis. He represents investment advisors and venture capital investors in connection with a variety of matters including the formation of private investment funds, separate account management contracts and regulatory compliance matters. Robert's financial counsel also includes advising investors in various types of financing transactions, including angel investments, venture capital investments and mezzanine financing transactions.
In general corporate matters, Robert offers guidance to private companies in connection with their formation, capital raising activities, mergers and acquisitions, and other ongoing business issues. He also provides non-profit entities with legal advice on incorporation, and both obtaining and maintaining their tax-exempt status.
