Mr. Bartlein has been a member of the Board of CWBC since its inception in 1997 and a founder and Director of Community West Bank (CWB) since 1989. In February 2004 Mr. Bartlein was named Chairman of the Board of CWB. Mr. Bartlein also serves as Chairman of the Loan Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee. He is President and CEO of Bartlein & Company Inc., founded in 1969, which is a property management company with five California offices as well as offices in other states. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Finance, Investments and Banking. He did post-graduate study at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mr. Bartlein is past President and a Director of the American Lung Association of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. |
