Mr. Reilly joined Charles Downer in the field of corporate development consulting in 1970 after having spent three years as a specialist in international economics on the faculty of the University of Connecticut. He is one of the leading advisors to European companies using acquisitions as a means of becoming established in the U.S. Mr. Reilly's corporate planning experience, which has centered around the needs of international companies, equips him with detailed and extensive first-hand knowledge of the issues confronting such companies. In addition, he has for the past twenty-two years been involved in the management of a substantial private equity portfolio for a German family. Accordingly he has detailed knowledge of the acquisition, divestiture and equity placement practices of private equity funds in both the U. S. and Europe. Mr. Reilly has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston College (1963) as well as four years of graduate study in Economics at Michigan State University. He is a director of numerous corporations. |
