Robert J. Bailey is executive vice president for Agilysys, Inc. Agilysys is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions to the corporate and public sectors, with special expertise in select vertical markets, including hospitality and retail. The company uses technology including hardware, software and services to help customers resolve their most complicated IT needs. Additionally, Agilysys possesses expertise in enterprise architecture and high availability, infrastructure optimization, storage and resource management, and business continuity; and provides industry-specific software, services and expertise to the hospitality and retail markets.
He reports directly to Arthur Rhein, the chairman, president and chief executive officer of the company, and is a member of the Agilysys Executive Committee.
Mr. Bailey began his career with Agilysys in early 1977. Previous positions he has held with the company include systems engineer, systems sales manager, general manager, area manager, director of digital sales, and vice president of marketing. Mr. Bailey was also vice president of marketing for the former Computer Systems Division. He was promoted to senior vice president, marketing in 1998 and named executive vice president in 2002. Mr. Bailey has been a member of the Agilysys Executive Committee since 2000. |
