Bob Baker is senior vice president and general manager of Intel Corporation's Technology and Manufacturing Group. He shares responsibility with William Holt for managing Intel's technology development, manufacturing and supply network. Intel's manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, Israel, Ireland, Malaysia, Philippines, China and Costa Rica.
Baker joined Intel in 1979 in Santa Clara, California. He managed several different factories, including Fab 7 and Fab 9 in New Mexico, and Fab 12 in Arizona. From 1996 to 2001, Baker managed Fab Sort Manufacturing and Intel Components Manufacturing. Baker was awarded the Intel Achievement Award for his work in developing cost-effective photolithography tools in 1981.
Baker received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Washington State University. |
