Mr. Robert J. Banks was appointed Vice President International Operations & Strategic Ventures of Swift Energy Company on May 11 2006. Mr. Banks will also continue to serve as Vice President International Operations of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Swift Energy International Inc. (SEI) a position that he has held since joining the Company on February 9 2004.
Mr. Banks brings over 25 years of experience in domestic and international operations. His assignments have involved 12 different countries including New Zealand Indonesia West Africa and the North Sea. He has had responsibility in the areas of oil and gas project development as well as project management for exploration exploitation and development activities. Additionally Mr. Banks has been responsible for acquisition and development evaluation teams strategic planning risk management and commercial management. Most recently Mr. Banks was Executive Vice President Operations with Vanco Energy Company Houston TX.
Mr. Banks received his B.S. degree in Finance and Economics in 1976 from Penn State and has post-graduate work towards his MBA in International Studies at the University of Dallas.
