Robert J. Blanch is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Silicon Valley office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department. Robert focuses his practice on litigation issues relating to patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secrets and antitrust law. He also has experience in complex civil litigation, client counseling and has assisted in the preparation of technology agreements and software licenses.
Prior to law school, Robert received his M.S. in electrical engineering, a bachelor锟絪 degree in electrical engineering and an A.B. degree in economics. Robert also was an assistant staff scientist in the optical communications technology group of M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory and an electrical engineer at the U.S. Army Natick Laboratory.
He is licensed to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Illinois and Massachusetts, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Robert is fluent in Spanish.
