Dr. Robert J. Kansy, VP Engineering, is responsible for the development of new products and new manufacturing processes as well as sustaining efforts for existing products and processes. He originally joined RFM in October of 1980, left for several years, and rejoined the company in January 1997. Bob introduced program management concepts that serve as the basis for RFM's QS 9000 Design Control element. This ongoing process is a major achievement that encompasses engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance elements for the company. Bob earned a Bachelor's, a Master's and a Doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the American Management Association (AMA). |
