Mr. Courie is a Director of the firm and a member of the firm's Corporate and Financial Services Groups. Mr. Courie's practice includes counseling entrepreneurs and business entities on a wide range of legal issues such as entity formation, financing, contract, employment, incentive compensation, intellectual property, reorganization and real estate matters; representing both sellers and buyers in asset and stock based acquisitions, divestitures and mergers; representing both banks and borrowers in commercial loan transactions; and representing sellers and buyers and lessors and lessees in commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to returning to law school, Mr. Courie worked for over seven years for Mellon Bank, N.A. and PNC Bank, N.A. in various corporate banking positions.
