Robert J. Ferguson joined Morton Electronic Materials in 1990, where he held several sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility. He moved to Automata, Inc. in 1997, where he was named vice president, Sales and Marketing, and returned to Morton Electronic Materials in 1998 as director of Marketing.
Mr. Ferguson was named Sales and Business Development director in 1999 when Rohm and Haas acquired Morton International and its Electronic Materials business. Two years later, he was promoted to vice president of Sales and Marketing for the Printed Wiring Board business, and became North America general manager for the renamed Circuit Board Technologies business in 2003.
The European region was added to Mr. Ferguson�s general manager duties in 2005, and later that year, he transferred to Rohm and Haas Company�s Plastics Additives business as general manager for the Americas. In January 2007, he assumed his current position. He was elected a Vice President in September 2007.
Mr. Ferguson has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, and currently serves on the board of directors of IPC, a leading association serving the circuit board industry. His educational background is in electrical engineering and business management.
He is based at the company�s new China Research and Development Center. Mr. Ferguson and his family live in Shanghai, China. |
