Until his retirement in December of 1996, Bob was chairman of the Miami real estate department of New York-based Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. He held that position since 1977 and was a partner in the firm for fifteen years. Bob�s practice area included real estate lending, representing institutional and private lenders, real estate developers and corporate clients. He also represented private and public corporate clients in all aspects of their business, with emphasis on the structuring of complex commercial transactions. Since retiring, he has been providing consultation to clients through Robert K. Jordan, P.A. Bob is the chairman of the board of directors of Community Television Foundation of South Florida, WPBT Channel 2, South Florida public television. As chairman, Bob serves on all board committees. Bob is also a member of the board of directors of Comtel, a for-profit affiliate of WPBT. Bob is also a member of the board of directors of Miami Children�s Hospital and serves as chairman of its quality committee and as a member of its executive and audit and compliance committees. He was previously on the board of Chateau Communities, Inc., a manufactured home community real estate investment trust, when it was publicly traded and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. |
