Robert is President of an Alberta-based firm providing corporate governance energy investment operations analysis and strategic development and execution advisory services for public private and government energy corporations. From 1999 to 2005 he was President and CEO of ENMAX Corporation an electric utility owned by the City of Calgary Alberta which he transformed into a vertically integrated corporation participating in electricity generation transmission and distribution; and electricity and natural gas trading wholesaling and retailing. Robert started his career as an Accounting and Administrative Analyst in the Upstream Production department of Amoco Canada. He then held the position of Business Planning and Economics Analyst in the Heavy and Synthetic Oils division of Gulf Canada Resources. Later he held key positions with The City of Medicine Hat including Chief Administrative Officer (Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer) and CEO of a wholly owned oil and gas subsidiary. Robert holds a MBA Banff School of Advanced Management Diploma and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. In 2005 he received the Institute-Certified (Corporate) Director Designation (ICD.D) through the Institute of Corporate Directors the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto) and the Haskayne Business School (University of Calgary). Robert currently is Chairman of Regal Energy Ltd. governor of the Calgary Petroleum Club and director for the Canadian Centre for Energy Information. He also serves on the Advisory Council for the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute and the Haskayne Business School. He has also served as director for ENMAX Corporation the Canadian Electricity Association ENTx Capital Corp. and as a member of the Canadian Energy Minister�s Advisory Council on Electricity. |
