Robert P. Hartzell became a Director of Scheid Vineyards in 1997. Bob is the owner of Harmony Vineyards, a producer of premium Zinfandel wine grapes near Lodi, California. From 1978 to 1996, he was president of the California Association of Winegrape Growers. For six years during this period, Bob also served on the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and the U.S. Trade Representative in connection with the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs negotiations. He has also served as Deputy Director of the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Bob holds a B.S. degree from the University of California at Davis. |
