President & Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Goodwin became President at LigoCyte in November of 2005. Dr. Goodwin joined the company in 2000 as the Director of Business Development and was later promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Goodwin has degrees in Bioengineering from UCLA and the University of Utah, and has extensive experience in intellectual property licensing. Formerly the director of technology transfer at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY), he has also held business development and research positions in the medical device industry. At LigoCyte, Dr. Goodwin's experience and educational background are applied to overseeing company operations and expanding the company's commercial opportunities. |
