Bob has extensive commercial litigation experience including administrative agency proceedings, arbitrations, jury trials and appellate practice involving both multi-national corporations and small businesses. He regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance issues. His practice focus also includes environmental litigation and arbitration; patent, trademark, trade secret disputes; stockholder and partnership disputes; and motor vehicle /dealership disputes.
Bob is the firm�s liaison with Lex Mundi, the world�s leading association of independent law firms. He is an active member of the Lex Mundi Antitrust, Competition and Trade Practice Group and the Dispute Resolution Practice Group. The NH Supreme Court affirmed a judgment in favor of two mortgage companies and their principals, who were accused of trade secret misappropriation and misuse of supposed confidential information by a former employer. The court also reversed a very substantial post-trial award of monetary sanctions against Sheehan�s clients.
Won a jury verdict in a trade secret dispute in the financial services industry
Successfully represented a trademark holder in obtaining an injunction against an Internet Web site violating its trademark.

Bob is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in New Hampshire and New York as well as in the First Circuit and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal. He is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Community Involvement
Bob is a Trustee of Canterbury Shaker Village, New Hampshire Legal Assistance, New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra, and the Concord Public Library Foundation. He is also a member of the Squam Lakes Association. |
