Robert R. Miller is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, resident in Milbank's New York office. Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Miller was an associate with Clifford Chance US LLP, where he was a member of the Securities Litigation practice group. Mr. Miller's primary practice areas include securities litigation under state and federal law.
Mr. Miller has defended and counseled a broad group of clients on both federal and state securities laws and matters before regulatory agencies. He has represented numerous financial institutions in class action and derivative litigation, including AllianceBernstein, Capital Research, Citigroup, and Fidelity. Mr. Miller is co-author of "Current Developments in Litigation Under the Investment Company Act of 1940" (2006), among other articles.
Mr. Miller received a B.A. in Political Economy from Central Washington University. He received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Villanova University School of Law in 2001, and was named to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Mr. Miller served as a Senior Editor for the Villanova Law Review. |
