Robert Kerr is a founding member of the Digital Sandbox team and serves as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Kerr balances the innovations developed by the Lead Scientist and other analytic members of the Company with market drivers and client feature needs to drive the roadmap for product development and deploy new features into the Company�s product line.
Mr. Kerr brings 15 years of experience in leading the analysis, design, development and deployment of large-scale software engineering efforts in the risk analysis, physics based simulation, and high-fidelity flight simulation domains. Mr. Kerr sets development processes and standards for all software development efforts in the firm to ensure consistent practice and maximize productivity.
Prior to joining Digital Sandbox, Mr. Kerr was a consultant for Andersen Consulting. At Andersen, he served as the team lead for the architecture team on an engagement with a leading telecommunications company. In this role, Mr. Kerr focused on studying and applying structured software development and project management processes to provide maximum business value to Andersen�s clients.
Mr. Kerr holds a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Kerr has published numerous papers on software engineering and simulation. |
