Bob Graff is a Partner and the Global Practice Manager for the In-House Group. He is located in Major, Lindsey & Africa's Atlanta office and specializes in recruiting highly qualified attorneys for a broad range of corporate clients. Efficiency and timeliness characterize Bob's recruiting style. His professionalism and well-known positive demeanor have defined his success.
In his practice Bob collaborates with his colleague, Catherine Butts. Together they have placed over 150 attorneys in-house. Their placements range from junior counsel to General Counsel and cover a broad spectrum of practice areas including M&A, corporate transactional, litigation, compliance, patent, and L&E. Their team approach provides both candidates and clients with a superior level of service. Candidates are interviewed by both Catherine and Bob and client discussions are held jointly. Because of Bob and Catherine's extensive involvement with corporate legal departments over they years, they often consult with clients on structure, work distribution and compensation.
Bob and Catherine also share a successful record of partner placements at select law firms in the Southeast.
Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in 1980 and his law degree in 1982 from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He began his career in 1982, with HBO & Company, the largest provider of healthcare software services in the U.S. In 1986, Bob joined Enstar Communications Corporation, an Atlanta-based cable television investment firm where he directed East Coast sales. After the successful sale of Enstar to Falcon Cable, Bob started his own company, which he ran successfully for a number of years and ultimately sold.
Bob is married with three children; his interests include running, tennis, and reading. Bob enjoys coaching youth soccer, and serves in leadership and volunteer positions at his church. |
