Dr. Schooley received his M.D. in 1974 from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He has subsequently held several clinical and academic positions at the National Institutes of Health, the Harvard Medical School and the University of Colorado. His research concentrates on immunology and infectious diseases. Dr. Schooley was recruited to the University of California, San Diego in 2005 where he currently serves as Professor and Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases. |
