Robert (Rob) Bruce was appointed President, Rogers Wireless in June 2005. In this role, Rob is responsible for all areas of Rogers Wireless' business, including marketing, resale, network strategy, and finance.
Mr. Bruce brings a unique level and diversity of marketing and operational expertise to his role at Rogers Wireless. He first joined Rogers Wireless in September 2001 in a newly-created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he oversaw all areas of marketing, including acquisition and customer base marketing, marketing communications and branding, corporate communications. During that time, Mr. Bruce also held the title of President, Wireless Data Services for Rogers Wireless. In this capacity, Mr. Bruce oversaw the successful launch of services on the new Rogers Wireless GSM/GPRS network across Canada.
Prior to joining Rogers Wireless, Mr. Bruce was Senior Vice President of Marketing at BCE Mobile Communications, responsible for all facets of the Company's marketing department.
Prior to joining BCE Mobile Communications, he held operating and marketing roles at a variety of companies, including Pepsi-Cola Canada Beverages Inc., Oshawa Foods Limited and Warner Lambert.
Mr. Bruce holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Queen's University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
Mr. Bruce is based at Rogers Wireless' Executive offices in Toronto, Ontario.
