Robert W. Campbell is Corporate Lead Executive (CLE) of Fort Monmouth, N.J., for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. As CLE, Mr. Campbell is responsible for all Fort Monmouth business development, marketing and customer interface. Key customers include Communication Electronics Command (CECOM); Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control and Communications Tactical (C3T); PEO Intelligence, Electronics and Sensors; and PEO Enterprise Information Systems.
Mr. Campbell joined TRW Corporation in 2000 as the business development and marketing lead for the Tactical Systems Division. In 2003, as part of Northrop Grumman, Mr. Campbell was named Mission Systems� regional marketing representative of Fort Monmouth, N.J., and assumed his role as CLE in 2004.
Mr. Campbell brings 20 years of Fort Monmouth experience to the position of CLE. He served as project manager on the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), a $5 billion major acquisition program for the Army. In this position, Mr. Campbell fielded over 70,000 SINCGARS systems to Korea, Panama, Hawaii, Alaska, CONUS and Europe, while also initiating a research and development computer-based training system. Mr. Campbell also served as project manager on the Army Key Management System, and the Improved High Frequency Radio for the U.S. Army PEO of Communications contracts in Fort Monmouth. Mr. Campbell executed full-line authority for all aspects of the material development, testing, acquisition, production and fielding of these programs.
Mr. Campbell earned a master of science degree in business at the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science degree in business at University of Nebraska.
