Dr. Doms is Chairman of the Microbiology Department at the University of Pennsylvania and advises Integral on membrane proteins and their applications. Dr. Doms has been studying HIV Envelope, membrane fusion, and viral receptors for more than 15 years and has published over 150 manuscripts. The Doms lab pioneered the use of retroviral pseudotypes on biosensors, the first instance of a retrovirus being used as a biochemical tool for the study of membrane proteins. |
