Robert Drummond is a strategic entrepreneur and was co-founder of Epsilon Data Management, Inc., a marketing services firm providing information-based marketing solutions to organizations nationwide. Mr. Drummond spent almost thirty years at Epsilon, where, as one of the co-founders he took the company public in 1984. Epsilon is widely regarded as one of the early pioneers of the database marketing/direct marketing industries. While heading the high-growth Travel, Entertainment and Retail Division, his team launched and managed frequent traveler programs for several major travel companies and developed the first supermarket loyalty program for Safeway Stores. In 1990, he helped negotiate the sale of the company to American Express and served as President & Chief Executive Officer of the wholly owned subsidiary. Under Mr. Drummond's direction, the company's client list grew to include some of the nation's best-known Fortune 100 companies and Epsilon revenues more than doubled in less than six years. His most recent endeavors include serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gazelle Systems, Inc., an early-stage private company offering integrated customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to the restaurant and hospitality markets. Mr. Drummond received an MBA from Harvard University and a BS in Electrical Engineering at Drexel University, where he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. He also serves on numerous other boards and affiliations. |
