Bob Duggan is the Founder of the investment firm Robert W. Duggan & Associates. Mr. Duggan has been a private venture investor for more than 30 years and has participated as a director of, investor in and advisor to numerous small and large businesses in the medical equipment, computer local and wide area network, PC hardware and software distribution, digital encryption, consumer retail goods and outdoor media communication industries. Mr. Duggan served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Computer Motion, Inc., from 1997 until the conclusion of its merger with Intuitive Surgical in June of 2003. Prior to Computer Motion Inc., Mr. Duggan's tenure as a board member of Government Technology Services from 1986 until 1993, during which time GTSI was recognized by INC Magazine as the fifth fastest growing privately held company in America. Mr. Duggan has served as a board member of Chart House Enterprises, Inc., was a Chairman of the board of Metropolis Media and has served as a Chairman of the Board and principal fund raiser for Communication Machinery Corporation (CMC). Before it was sold in July 1988 to Rockwell International, CMC was one of the world�s top three ethernet networking companies. Mr. Duggan is a member of the University of California - Santa Barbara Foundation Board of Trustees. |
