Robert Ellis is general counsel at IFL. He is also the Chief Compliance Officer of IFL Investment Management LLC, and is a registered representative of IFL Capital LLC, the U.S. broker-dealer affiliate of IFL. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ellis was a senior vice president and counsel for the Financial Services division of Swiss Reinsurance Company. He began his legal career at Debevoise & Plimpton in 1990. Additionally, he spent four years teaching corporate and securities law as an associate professor at Hofstra University School of Law. Mr. Ellis holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. |
