Robert Farra has over two decades of leadership experience successfully developing complex electro-mechanical medical devices. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for Abiomed, leading the development of intra-aortic balloon pumps and ventricular assist devices. Mr. Farra has also held leadership positions at Accellent Endoscopy and Arthur D. Little, Inc. (ADL) where he led multidisciplinary teams in the development of numerous minimally invasive surgical instruments and interventional devices. Mr. Farra holds a BSME from University of Massachusetts, Lowell and an SMME from MIT. Mr. Farra holds nine domestic and international patents. |
