Mr. Griffin joined KCC in September 2002.
He was the co-founder of eMotion Inc. a leader in digital media management technology and services. eMotion Inc. was created out of a merger Mr. Griffin facilitated between Picture Network International (a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak) where he was the President and CEO and Cinebase Software. Under his leadership eMotion achieved the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50, Fast 500 for each of his years there.
Prior to PNI/eMotion Mr. Griffin was one of the founding partners of Internet Business Advantages (IBA) Inc., an early professional services company that focused on building technology in the ECRM arena. IBA was purchased by KANA, the leader in ECRM solutions.
Mr. Griffin spent 16 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where in his last assignment he was the Vice President and CIO for the Accounts Business Unit, a $2 billion division that focused on Digital's largest corporate clients. Prior to that he held the position of Eastern Region Vice President for Digital Consulting, a 700 person organization with over $250 million of annual billings.
Mr. Griffin did his undergraduate studies in Business Management at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He has completed the Advanced International Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and is a graduate of the NASDAQ Mindshare Entrepreneur program. Mr. Griffin was the 2001 winner of the Deloitte and Touche Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Washington DC in the Software category.
