Dr. Robert Haselkorn is the F.L. Pritzker Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago and a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 200 papers in the field of molecular genetics and is a world-renowned authority on the genetics of photosynthetic bacteria and cyanobacteria. Dr. Haselkorn co-founded Syntro Corporation, a producer of proprietary vaccines for veterinary medicine. He has been an advisor to UNIDO, the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (Italy and India), Enichem (Italy), and Sogetal and Orsan (France). He received his B.S. degree from Princeton and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He is a co-founder of Integrated Genomics. |
