A graduate of Boston University with degrees in Marketing and Finance, Robert Hayman is entrepreneurial by birth. His family created Giorgio Beverly Hills, a leader in fashion and fragrance marketing, where Robert worked his way up to director of European operations as well as responsibility for the introduction of Giorgio, New York.
After meeting Dr. William Dorfman of Extreme Makeover fame at a UCLA Bachelor's Auction Charity Event in 1991, the two merged their dental and business experiences to form Discus Dental, Inc. quickly changing the face of dentistry with the launch of Nite White�. Bringing together leading tooth whitening chemistry with consumer-oriented, highly aesthetic packaging was a first for dentistry and became a model for future Discus product innovations.
Since this beginning, Day White-ACP, Nite White Turbo-ACP & Zoom2-ACP have become industry-leading whitening products. Beyond whitening, Discus is a leader in innovative aesthetic and clinical products, including impression materials, restorative composites, LED curing lights, the BreathRx fresh breath system, professional fluorides, and even practice management software.
