Dr. Jackson is an accomplished engineer and scientist who is responsible for ion optics design, electronics architecture, and mechanical design. As a post-doctoral fellow at the Univ of Maine's Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology, Dr. Jackson designed and built several ultrahigh vacuum analytical instruments, including two distinct mass spectrometer systems. Prior to that he was an engineering supervisor at Nautel, a leading manufacturer of radio navigation and broadcast equipment. He also has technical experience in clinical medical laboratory. Dr. Jackson received his PhD and MS in Physics from the University of Maine, and his BS in Engineering Physics from the University of Maine. |
