Robert Lamm was appointed Senior Vice President Quality & Regulatory Affairs in February 2006, after joining Savient in June 2002 as Vice President, Worldwide Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Savient, Dr. Lamm was a Consultant at Quantic Consulting, Inc from 2001 until 2002. Prior to that time, Dr. Lamm was employed by Carter-Wallace, Inc. from 1987 to 2001 in positions of increasing responsibility, the last five years as Vice-President of Corporate Quality Standards. From 1984 to 1987, Dr. Lamm worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb Corporation as Quality Section Head. Dr. Lamm received his Masters of Science and Ph.D. degrees from Rutgers University in 1980 and 1984, respectively.
