Mr. Leahy graduated St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1984. After graduation, he held positions as Accounting Manager and Senior Financial Project Leader for such firms as General Rent A Car, Inc., PaverModule, Inc., Encore Computer Corporation and Racal-Datacom Corporation until 1997. In 1997 Robert joined Kerzner International Resorts, Atlantis Resort and Casino, Plantation, Florida. From 1997 to 1998, Robert was Decision Support System Manager and Decision Support System Analyst. He was Director of Accounting and Director of Operational Analyses in 1998/99. Reporting to the CFO, he structured, managed and developed a department of 40 full-time employees, including financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. In 1999, Robert was promoted to Vice President of Finance. Managed revenue of $375 million and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of $130 million. From 2001 to 2006 Mr. Leahy was Vice President and Director of Process Improvement and Reengineering with Kerzner International Resorts. He reported directly to the Chief Operating Officer of this world-class hospitality and gaming industry leader. Robert led key corporate improvement projects including: Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance for IT, Business Infrastructure Process Improvement (telecommunications), and a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) selection project. Throughout his career, Mr. Leahy has led many development and redesign teams, rolling out policies and procedures designed to maximize corporate efficiencies.
