Robert Lewin�s practice primarily is in the area of insurance and reinsurance litigation/arbitration. He has represented numerous clients in various insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes involving comprehensive general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, excess and umbrella liability, worker�s compensation and financial guarantee and performance bonds. His experience in the reinsurance area has been in representing cedents, reinsurers, retrocessionaires, pool members, intermediaries and liquidators. He has been responsible for several complex litigations and arbitrations, at both the trial and appellate level, in a variety of jurisdictions.
Mr. Lewin is active in various professional organizations. He has served as a speaker at insurance/reinsurance conferences. Mr. Lewin is a member of the AIDA (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances) U.S. Presidential Council. Mr. Lewin serves as Chairman of Stroock�s Committee on Pro Bono activities.
