Mr. Bob Massie is founder and CEO of Marketing Informatics, an Indianapolis-based company that specializes in direct marketing services. Founded in 1987, Marketing Informatics (Mi) boasts a comprehensive service offering for the direct marketing industry: market research, data analytics, creative and strategic services, data management, printing and full-service direct mail.
The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University recognized Mi with the Entrepreneurial Award of Distinction in 2005 and 2006. Additionally, Inc. magazine named Mi as #175 (2005) and #186 (2006) in its list of the 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. Also in 2006, the Indianapolis Business Journal recognized it as the fastest growing privately held company in the Indianapolis area.
Massie shares his marketing experience in speaking and training venues on a regular basis to help demystify the concept of marketing so that the process can be better integrated into the life of a business. He is also a published author, having written five books, including one novel, and has served as author or editor of dozens of curriculum projects. His current project is a book entitled Marketing is a Relationship.
Massie served for eight years as an elected member of the Indianapolis City County Council, representing District 20 on the south side of Indianapolis. He served as chair of the strategic Committee on Rule and Public Policy, which handles all matters related to the development and implementation of public policy initiatives in Indianapolis.
Massie is also a licensed pilot, an avid outdoorsman, and devoted husband and father. He and his wife of 35 years, Dianna, have three grown children, Mary Katherine, Matthew and Emily. |
