Robert Merold, Director. Mr. Merold was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Proteome, Inc., a private company, specializing in proteomic-based information for the life sciences research community. Proteome was acquired by Incyte Genomics in August, 2001. Prior to Proteome, Mr. Merold spent nine years at IMS Health, a $1.2 billion global provider of information and software services to the pharmaceutical industry, where he served in a number of executive positions; most recently as Senior Vice President, Worldwide product management and business strategy, Strategic Technologies. Prior to IMS, Mr. Merold was the Director of Marketing, Healthcare at Bristol-Myers Squibb Consumer Healthcare Products. Prior to Bristol-Myers, Mr. Merold spent 10 years at The Procter & Gamble Company in positions of increasing responsibility in product management. Mr. Merold graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Magna cum Laude, with General Honors, College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in English, with a minor in Finance from The Wharton School. |
