Mr. Robert Michelson's companies have a targeted focus on the collection, aggregation and distribution of large amounts of data from a typically disparate set of sources. Mr. Robert Michelson was president of FastWEB, a web based service that provides financial aid services to high school and college students. To date the company has provided its services to over 20 million registered students and has established one of the largest databases of its kind (demographic and behavioral profile of each registrant), with significant value to companies conducting targeted marketing to 18 to 25 year olds. The company was acquired by TMPW in 2002. Mr. Robert Michelson was also a Chairman of FunBrain, a web based company that features the largest collection of elementary school quizzes to support teachers (over 400,000 registered teachers) and educational games for kids (over 25,000 daily users). The company was acquired by Pearson in 2001. Mr. Robert Michelson recently operated a division of iXL, a leading IT strategy and services company, with P/L responsibility for $100 million in revenue and management of over 800 professionals in 5 offices. Mr. Robert Michelson was also president of a vertically oriented IT services firm that he grew from $8 million in revenue and two offices to $40 million in revenue and 10 offices. The company was featured in INC Magazine as one of the fastest (#112) growing private companies in the U.S. Mr. Robert Michelson began his career as a marketing representative for IBM. He has a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University School of Business.
