Robert Miles is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate financial management. Robert is a proven hands-on, participative manager with experience in diverse industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, retail and distribution. He is particularly skilled in accounting, planning and budgeting, systems management and cash management.
Robert has served as a senior consultant for a wide variety of engagements involving turnaround management, interim management, short and long term planning, cash management, accounting and analysis expertise and cost and financial accounting support. In prior engagements, Robert was the Interim CFO of a financially distressed manufacturer, a structural steel fabricator and also a stadium seating manufacturer, providing each with financial management expertise while successfully maintaining lender relationships, allowing the companies to successfully recover.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Robert served as the Chief Financial Officer of Zartic, Inc., a nationwide food processor and distributor. In this capacity, Robert's responsibilities included overall corporate planning and direction. During his tenure, Robert led the Company through two refinancings and significantly reduced costs within its largest manufacturing facility.
Robert received his MBA from East Carolina University in Accounting and his BS in Business Administration from Western Carolina University. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
